Aim of Ayurveda is to maintain the health of a healthy person and to cure the diseases. Daily routine, seasonal routine, proper diet, Panchakarma procedures, rejuvenation and virility (aphrodisiac) therapy are different aspects which are to be followed to have a healthy and long life. Panchakarma procedures are to be done in a healthy person in specific season to eliminate the physiologically accumulated doshas in the body which are due to the effect of specific seasons. Panchakarma procedures are also done in different diseased conditions.

Department : Panchakarma
The five-speciality treatment are Vamana (Emesis), Virechana (purgation), Basti (Medicated enemas), Nasya (Medicated Nasal Oil) & Raktha Mokshana (Toxic bloodletting). In healthy individuals these are given according to rutu and in diseased it is given according to patient needs (i.e. to eliminate the toxins from the body which is the root cause of the disease). Panchakarma has shown its significance in many diseases. But to emphasise digestive disorders, respiratory disorders, musculoskeletal conditions, neurological conditions, skin diseases, metabolic and auto immune diseases, stress, and hormonal issues and many more can be treated with these therapies and have shown very good results.
In current lifestyle due to hectic schedule, busy lifestyle, lot of stress people are ending up with lot of life style disorders which can be effectively treated by panchakarma therapies.
